We create lifelong heirlooms that you’ll be able to look at and love forever in your home and pass down to your children.
We are based in Adelaide’s South, in Hallett Cove, 5158 SA, just minutes from Westfield Marion and Brighton areas. Here we have a fully equipped home photography studio, complete with studio lighting, props and outfits. Families come to our studio from all across Adelaide, and we’d love to welcome you too, from wherever you are. Did you know, a car ride can often settle a newborn babe? This soothes them, getting them ready for us to photograph their adorable little face. We’re here to tell your love stories and allow you to relax for the day, we go above and beyond to make this experience so memorable for you that you’ll want to come back again and again.
We are so mindful that as new parents you’ll need all the assurance, care, and preparation for this magical day to be it’s best, this is why we carefully create your very own personalised experience based on a beautiful questionnaire you give us to get to know you from the moment we hear from you! To us, this is all about making your journey with us smooth and easy, this is why we make sure to send you everything you need to know in advance, from a full prep guide with what to bring, and we provide you with a luxury client wardrobe to choose outfits for newborns, babies, toddlers, kids up to age 10 and a beautiful array of stunning dresses for Mums.

When you book in with us, we will be ready to put in our all, to have a good social chat, to hear your motherly struggles and sighs, to laugh with you at the funny moments your children express, to cry with you when you’re heart strings are tugged when viewing your images with us. We are in for the soulful voyage, we are grateful for the transparent details as you share your lives with us, for being raw and real with us wether we capture you in our stunning studio or walk with you along the shore-land near the sea. Nothing forced, nothing too overly posed, just you, and your family being who you are everyday in the presence of us, a stranger who has become your friend.

Same Day In Studio Viewing Appointment
Yes, you read right, if you have opted for an in studio photo shoot with us, we will actually show you your beautiful photographs we have just taken for you on the exact same day, how incredibly exciting! Sit back, enjoy lunch on us as we reveal your images to you on the big screen, ready for you to choose your favourites and place your order, this is the most wonderful part of the day, so prepare to get comfy and relax here a while. PS: We’re pretty confident we are one of the only photography companies that offer this in Adelaide, if there are others we’re confident it was our trend setting! Just saying, we’re pretty ‘chill’ on this reason to choose us *wink face*.
Please note for *Beach shoots we will require a viewing appointment to be booked on a seperate day to your shoot due to our beach shoots being held at sunset, we will be in contact a few days after to arrange your ordering appointment after your session usually held within 2 weeks from your shoot.

Studio & Natural Light Photography
We’re a little different from most photographers in that we use studio light in all our indoor shoots and natural light for all our stunning beach and garden sessions. It produces a more consistent look which just can’t be guaranteed with relying on natural sunlight indoors or harsh flash photography outdoors. In addition to the stunning photography, studio light is a great way to dim the room and calm baby into a deep and cozy sleep, while natural sunlight for beach sessions is a great way to allow older kids to run around and be themselves and not feel like they are really in a “photoshoot” at all.

Professional Wall Art & Digital Images
After your photoshoot has finished, we will provide a delicious lunch from our local cafe. While you enjoy your lunch, we will be preparing your collection for a same-day viewing for in studio photo shoots. After viewing your stunning images on our cinematic screen, we will take you through all the options with ample time to ask questions and make choices. We carefully curate each print collection to professional standards, providing beautiful and tangible memories to take home, ready to share with your loved ones. We supply your digital images via a digital download gallery link, which are best suited to complement your prints. Most all our framing offers a 75 year quality guarantee for your piece of mind on your beautiful investment.

Experience and Safety
We’ve as a team of photographers have been family photographers for over ten years, making us experts in family and newborn photography. Through our years, safety has always been a top priority for our business. Keeping you and your baby safe is paramount to us, so we’ll always be present with your baby while posed, or between shots. Precious Pearl Photography is owned and operated by Adelaide family photographer Celeste (that’s me) and Forbes, my husband. Together, we’ve created a business that represents us; rustic, personal and authentic. I’m a leading AIPP Accredited Newborn Photographer in Adelaide, and I’ve been a family, maternity and newborn photographer since 2009, capturing hundreds of sentimental family memories over this time. Our process is truly personal from start to finish, we welcome you into our home studio, leading you through a family-focused session and providing tea, coffee and lunch while we prepare your new photos for viewing on the very same day.
