How long is the session?

20-30 minutes

When will we see our photos? 

Photos will be ready to view within 2 weeks of your shoot. Make a time with the link we send you to come have lunch with us and have a good look at all your stunning images!

What is the Location Like?

Rolling hills dotted with summer shrubs and contrasting towering fir pines. All with an ocean view. 

This area is steep so please be careful when moving about the location. Closed shoes not required but recommended. 

When is the Session? 

Golden hour! 

The best photos happen within the last hour of the day. As for dates you will have to join our waitlist to see! 

What should I bring? 

As this is a mini session it is best if you come wearing your own outfit, based on the colour palette we send you, as not to spend your whole session getting everyone into outfits. 

Long pants or leggings for the kids, long skirts and maxi dresses for mums as those grassy shoots can be a little “whippy” 

Accessories? We love a good Boho felt hat and sentimental items but we advise against loud costume jewellery 

Suffer Hay Fever? 

This time of year, running around in a grassy field is a person with hay fever’s worst nightmare so if this is you – pre-empt with your own regular anti-histamines. 

Bug Spray is probably also not a terrible idea. 

What not to bring?

Your pram will be useless on this terrain. Better off with a capsule or body wrap and a back pack if you must. But your location will only be 2 minutes from your car so it is best to be wild and free. 

Cameras – Please leave your own camera at home, that’s why you have us! Photos/ Videos of any kind during your shoot is banned, sorry. 

What if the weather is bad?

It is so unlikely we will have bad weather. If there is a freak lightning storm, rain or random tornado we will reschedule the mini shoots for another date. 

What if my kids are not on their best behaviour? 

Good! We want you to be your authentic selves. Very few of our photos are actually posed and we prefer to capture our images through imaginative prompts and games to inspire natural candid moments. We do ask for their safety that children are under your control but they are not expected to “behave” . 

No child must be all smiles the whole time and we ride the whims and emotions of each person. Children are not forced to pose and we can get lots of images of them just genuinely playing and exploring the field. A little bribery for listening does go a long way

However If a child is genuinely really upset to the point no photos at all can be taken and they cannot be settled we may need to reschedule your shoot. Reschedule fees apply. 

Can I get extra photos?

Absolutely you can! We hope you do. We love print products and wall art and dream of glorious paper albums. However we also understand the need for digital images in the modern digital world. If its not in Insta, did it even happen? 

So for this reason all our individual products starting from only $250 come with the matching digital image. As expected there are also collections which carry greater value and include both prints, products and digital images. Available on payment plan most clients spend at least $500 with us and some clients choose to spend over $2000. Its a spectrum and theres something for everyone.
